Chellsea Sparks is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. She acquired a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from UTPB and her M.A. in Counseling and Mental Health from West Texas A&M University. Chellsea has worked in the mental health field since 2018 with exposure to a variety of issues related to mental health. These include depression, anxiety, ADHD, neurodivergent related problems, grief, trauma, substance abuse, and attachment related problems. Chellsea gained certification to treat, assessment, test, and diagnose ADHD in all age groups. The certification that she holds is ADHD-CCSP.
Chellsea believes that everyone has a story to tell. When we can share our narrative with someone who reacts with empathy and understanding, shame cannot endure. She understands that progress is never linear and a continual path to mental health recovery is possible with the right support. She aims to create a safe therapeutic environment in which trust can be built on mutual respect and understanding. She works with adolescents, young adults, and adults experiencing ADHD, trauma, and other related mental health difficulties. Chellsea utilizes an individualized approach to what fits the person’s needs. Furthermore, Chellsea is trained in EMDR through EMDRIA. She loves to work with recent traumatic events (RTEP protocol), EMDR with children, and complex trauma cases with comorbidities with both ADHD & trauma.
In addition to individual and family counseling, Chellsea offers objective ADHD evaluations to children and adults. Testing take about 2-3 hours. Chellsea will provide a written evaluation to provide to your doctor for diagnosis and medication support. No referral is needed.
